Beta Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect account information such as email, date of birth, alias, profile details, interests, coarse location labels, content you post, messages you send, reports, blocks, follows, and product activity needed to operate the service.

2. Sensitive information

Profile fields may reveal sensitive personal preferences or relationship information. Most optional profile fields can be omitted. We intentionally avoid collecting exact or live location in the beta.

3. Age eligibility

We record your date of birth and your 18+ eligibility confirmation. The current beta uses self-attested date of birth; future versions may use a third-party age-assurance provider. Pleasure-U does not currently require storing raw government ID.

4. How information is used

• Operate authentication, profiles, feeds, discovery, messaging, and notifications.
• Enforce blocks, reports, moderation, abuse prevention, and safety controls.
• Maintain platform security and diagnose failures.
• Understand beta usage and improve the member experience.

5. Visibility and controls

Members control whether their profile appears in Discover and can block other members. Private media is stored in private buckets and delivered through time-limited access links according to platform permissions.

6. Sharing

We do not design Pleasure-U around selling member profile data. Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers necessary to run the platform, and may be disclosed when required for safety, security, legal compliance, or protection of rights.

7. Retention

We retain information while it is needed to operate the beta, enforce safety, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Deleted or moderated content may remain in backups or safety records for a limited period.

8. Your choices

You can limit optional profile information, disable Discover visibility, remove posts, block members, and request account assistance. Additional export and deletion controls are planned before public launch.

9. Safety reports

Reports and moderation records may be retained separately from ordinary social content so the platform can investigate repeated abuse or serious safety concerns.
